In the Caterpillar Room today, we had a great time exploring ice eggs, with plastic insects frozen into them. This was a slightly cold but great fun sensory experience which our tamariki loved.
What wonderful friendships we are forming here in the Caterpillar Room. We have had a lovely time this afternoon, sharing story time and working on our growing language and literacy skills.

These beautiful sunny days are giving us plenty of opportunity to enjoy water play, and even enjoy the freezing cold experience of frozen bugs in ice. It is so great to watch our little explorers at work enjoying so many new and exciting sensory learning experiences.

Even though it was makariri outside today we still managed to get out and enjoy exploring with our senses in the sand pit.
