Last week, our tamariki have been enjoying playing with the bubble blowers outside. Tawhirimatea (Māori God of the weather) has been blowing so the bubbles were getting blown high and floating away.
We made a manu tukutuku iti (small kite) later in the Chrysalis room and took it outside. After much practice, we got it to fly. When we had finished the tamariki decided to leave it tied to a tree for our teina tamariki in the caterpillar room to enjoy watching.
