Exploring new squishy shapes and textures

Kia Ora!
We have had a very busy couple of weeks in the Caterpillar Room! We’ve been exploring new squishy shapes, exploring a sensory hoop with beads, ribbon and a ley on it and we have been investigating new textures such as baking soda and water, and always reoccurring play dough. We also have been improving our hand eye coordination and balancing in our outdoor environment using our amazing tyres and planks.
We are very lucky in the Caterpillar Room as a staff members mum has made us some cool waterproof crawler pants!! This means we can go and play outside after the rain! Woohooo! We look forward to sharing what else we have been doing this week!
