We are delighted to share with our whanau and wider community that we have received our confirmed Education Review Office (ERO) Quality Evaluation Report, with the Centre being assessed as Embedded. In coming days, once the website is updated, you’ll be able to review our ERO report online here.
This is an incredibly positive outcome and reflects an assessment above the quality threshold. An Embedded judgement recognises that our Centre has established and sustained the learning and organisational conditions that support ongoing improvement in the quality of education and care for tamariki. It acknowledges the strength of our relationships, leadership, curriculum and systems, and our commitment to continuously working toward the best outcomes for our tamariki.
This achievement belongs to our entire community. Our amazing kaiako, our tamariki, and our whānau who trust us to partner in the learning journey for their tamaiti. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together.
As always, we recognise that quality is not a destination, but a journey. We remain committed to continually strengthening our practice and using ERO’s insights to guide our next steps. Over the coming years, we will place particular emphasis on:
- Strengthening our assessment practices by evaluating how effectively teaching strategies are supporting learning progress for tamariki;
- Further developing professional growth processes for leaders and kaiako to encourage reflective practice and ongoing learning; and
- Building a shared understanding of evaluation across the Centre so that we can better determine the impact of changes made, for whom, and how these improvements contribute to inclusive, equitable and excellent outcomes for all learners.
We are proud of this recognition and excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to grow, learn and strive for excellence together.
