Registered Teacher

Join our team as a Qualified, Registered Kaiako.

Are you passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to nurturing young minds? Due to a staff member relocating, we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and qualified registered teacher to join our beautiful and nurturing infants room. We are a privately owned, purpose-built centre, passionate about creating magical learning experiences to help our tamariki reach their full potential. There’s lots to explore in our open natural spaces, allowing our kaiako to provide unique learning experiences in a warm, loving and safe environment. We operate on a 1:3 ratio.

We’re currently looking for someone who enjoys building close bonds with tamariki and their whanau, and who can communicate well. Organisation and a sound knowledge of curriculum, planning and learning and assessment competencies is also important.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a current teaching registration and ECE qualification
  • Be a NZ registered teacher
  • Have the right to work in NZ
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be knowledgeable in ECE requirements and regulations
  • Have a warm, caring and friendly personality
  • We are a full parity Centre, and offer a great benefits package which includes competitive remuneration, discounted childcare, uniform, an annual PD allowance, a supportive and friendly team offering mentoring and support. There is potential for leadership opportunities – this could be a 2IC role for the right person.

We’re hiring! We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable teachers to join our casual relievers pool. While an ECE qualification is an advantage, we are also interested in hearing from experienced, unqualified applicants.

To support our friendly, professional team during staff absences we are seeking capable individuals who possess a kind and nurturing approach towards children, and the ability to be flexible and responsive. As not all staff absences are planned, a willingness to receive offers of work at short notice is desirable.

We are a full parity centre, offering excellent working conditions, a friendly team environment including spacious indoor and outdoor spaces.

Applicants should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
